DESCRIPTION
This triangular shawl is easy to wear, fun to style and shines in any colorway! Through the use of evolving segments, the pattern entices the knitter to keep working to reach the next segment.
The pattern is slightly unconventional. All RS rows are primarily knit. The horizontal stripes and lace are created while working WS rows. Therefore, the shawl has more knit stitches than purls and all of the yarn overs are followed by a p2tog or p, which many knitters find easier to manipulate.
The simple stitch patterns for each segment are charted.
By working any/all of the six pattern segments in different orders, the shawl could be knit over a trillion different ways!

My Process

My patterns are designed, not just written down, because I want your project to be a success!
Before knitting begins, I sketch ideas, test yarns, stitch swatches, create charts, do math and consider a variety of skills and construction methods. Each pattern uses standard knitting terminology and notations, is edited for technical accuracy and has a logical, easy-to-read format.
I do the work so you can relax and enjoy the knitting.
