Feeling Scrappy Socks - Knitting Pattern PDF

  • $5.00

This knit sock pattern will help you practice your colorwork and use up some of those yarn scraps from your stash. These socks are worked from the toe up so you can make the leg any length you desire and hopefully avoid playing "yarn chicken". The pattern includes a simple color chart with my recommended colors, as well as a grayscale chart you can color and experiment with your own color orders.

These socks have star shaped toes and Shadow Wrapped short row heels. If you are new to Shadow Wrapped short row heels don't worry. Short row heels are a lot faster and easier than you may think. In addition to the pattern, the download also includes a reference card with a photo tutorial of how to make the necessary twin and triplet stitches required for the short row heels.

The directions for this sock pattern are needle neutral. You can knit with either dpns or circular needles and the magic loop method.
