Accounts/Customer Order History

To access your Customer Order History, enter the email address associated with your order and a 6-digit code will be sent to that email address. After the code is entered you will be able to view your order history.

Clicking on the order number will open your order status page which contains all of the information pertaining to your order. If you ordered a digital pattern, this page also includes a "DOWNLOAD" button so you can download a copy of your file any time you need it.

Unfortunately, download links for patterns purchased before February 26, 2022, are no longer active. We will issue new download links if requested. If you would like us to resend or re-issue a download link, please contact us. It is helpful if you include your name, the name of the pattern you purchased and if possible, your order number in your message.

Copyright + Use

All of our patterns are copyrighted. Patterns are for individual, personal, non-commercial use only.

No portion of our patterns may be reproduced or transmitted in any form, by any means, mechanical, electronic, photocopying or otherwise without the designer's written permission.

Discount Codes

We like to treat e-newsletter subscribers with discount codes. Usually only one discount code may be used per purchase.

Handwoven Floor Rugs

Materials

We warp our looms with new, 100% cotton, carpet warp, usually undyed. The weft in our rag rugs is upcycled textiles purchased at local thrift stores and yard sales or donated from our friends' linen closets. We often weave with bed sheets, t-shirts and sewing fabric remnants.

All of our reclaimed materials are laundered as soon as they arrive at our studio, before we begin weaving. Our handwoven rugs are also washed after the weaving is complete in a process known as wet finishing. This ensures your rag rug is both clean and structurally sound. 

Use + Care

When living with the handwoven floor rugs in our home we:

• ALWAYS use with a slip resistant rug gripper.
• REGULARLY remove debris by shaking gently outside.
• A FEW TIMES A YEAR, handwash by soaking in the bathtub (or machine wash on delicate cycle) with tepid water and no-rinse laundry detergent. Squeeze out excess water, then air dry outside by hanging lengthwise over a rail/clothesline, or laying flat on a drying rack in filtered sun.
• OCASSIONALLY clean spills by pre-treating the soiled area with a stain remover before washing.
• NEVER put a rag rug in the dryer.

Patterns

Downloading

When you purchase a pattern, you will receive a link to download your pattern in three places:

1. After checkout on the "Thank You!" screen, as soon as your order is complete.

2. Via email (If it is not in your email inbox within moments of purchase, check your junk or spam folder. The download message will be from "The Chilly Dog" <no-reply@edp-cdn.net>.)

3. The Orders section of your Customer Order History  includes download links for patterns purchased after February 26, 2022.

If you would like us to resend or re-issue a download link, please contact us. It is helpful if you include your name, the name of the pattern you purchased and if possible, your order number in your message.

Device Support

We are unable to provide device support for downloading, accessing, viewing or printing your .pdf pattern files. However, if you are having download difficulties, please contact us with your name and order number and we will get you stitching as soon as possible by sending your pattern via email.

Errata + Updates

We occasionally update individual patterns with simplified formatting, additional instructions and errata.

For patterns purchase after February 26, 2022, you can access the most recent version of a pattern by:

• using the download link for the pattern order number in your Customer Order History
• using the download link in the automated email from your original order

Pattern errata is also noted at the bottom of the pattern description on our product pages.

Pattern Support

We are continually creating instructional videos explaining many different knitting techniques and they are available on our YouTube channel.

If you have a quick question or need additional clarification on the terminology or a technique used in one of our patterns, you may contact us.

We are occasionally able to provide more extensive, personalized knitting support, but this service is provided for an additional fee. If you would like to inquire about teaching rates or schedule a video chat appointment, contact us.

Wholesale

Would you like to use one of our patterns for resale in a kit or as a class or stitch along? We accept wholesale pattern orders from Local Yarn Stores and other businesses in the fiber/textile industry. Please contact us for more information on wholesale rates and payment options.

Payments

Your payment information is securely processed through Shopify Payments. As a seller, we never have access to your credit card information.

Privacy

We hate spam and trackers just as much as you.

Your personal information (such as name, physical address, email address and record of products purchased) is only used to process orders, communicate with you about your order and screen for fraud.

We use the device information (such as IP address, browsing history, search history, information on our users’ interactions with the site) to help us screen for potential risk and fraud and more generally to improve and optimize our shop.

We use Shopify to power our online store. You can read more about how Shopify uses your Personal Information here, https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

We DO NOT use creepy tracking, like Google Analytics, or targeted advertising. You will not be added to our email list unless you choose to subscribe. We will never sell your information to a third party.

We may share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Refunds + Returns

Gift Cards

Gift cards are not returnable or refundable. Items purchased with gift cards are only eligible for store credit when applicable.

Digital Items

No refunds are available for digital goods after the file has been downloaded.

However, if you accidentally purchase multiple copies of the same pattern, please contact us. We try to review every order for this type of error and will refund the overage as soon as we become aware of the problem.

Physical Items

We hope you are 100% satisfied when you purchase one of our handwoven items. We try our best to accurately describe and capture the colors of our photographed items. However, we understand there can be differences between the digitally displayed and actual colors.

Please contact us before returning any item. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of receiving your item. Typically we will refund the purchase price minus our shipping costs after we receive the item in its original packaging as long as it is in unused condition with all of the original tags and labels.

Shipping

At this time we are only able to ship our handwoven items (usually via USPS) to addresses within the United States. Typically, orders placed before 3:00 p.m. are processed the next business day. We currently offer free US shipping on all rug orders.

Taxes

If you live in the great state of Alabama, where our business is located, sales tax will be added to your purchase price.
