DESCRIPTION
This double knit scarf pattern has two repeating motifs, a burst (or snowflake) and a bloom (or flower), and was designed with beginning double-knitters in mind. The color pattern is charted.
Double knitting creates a reversible fabric that appears to be knit on each side with a positive image on one side and the negative image on the other. This effect is created by working with both yarns at the same time in a k1, p1 motion. Double knitting can be executed either continental or English style.

My Process
My patterns are designed, not just written down, because I want your project to be a success!
Before knitting begins, I sketch ideas, test yarns, stitch swatches, create charts, do math and consider a variety of skills and construction methods. Each pattern uses standard knitting terminology and notations, is edited for technical accuracy and has a logical, easy-to-read format.
I do the work so you can relax and enjoy the knitting.
